Dr. Jurt completed all her medical training at the University of Toronto.  She first obtained her medical degree in 1997 and furthered her training by completing her General Internal Medicine residency in 2001.  She subsequently pursued her cardiac training and did her Cardiology residency in 2003.

She has worked as a community cardiologist in Brampton since 2005 and during this time she also did locums in Kingston.  Her area of interest is in multi-modality imaging, primary and secondary preventative cardiology and she is fluent in both English and German.
