Dr. Ricci is a graduate of the University of Toronto who completed postgraduate specialty training in Cardiology at the University of Toronto. He joined the Rouge Valley Health System in 1986. As the Director of the Regional Cardiac Care Program at RVHS, he has led the expansion of cardiac care at RVHS and improvements in care for our community and at Corcare.
Dr. Ricci has special certifications in advanced cardiac imaging and a professional focus on prevention of cardiac disease progression. He is a member of provincial and regional committees including the CCN (Cardiac Care Network of Ontario), Central East LHIN, Cardiac Steering Committee, the Cardiac Rehabilitation Network of Ontario, and is a past member of the CCN Cardiac Rehabilitation Expert Panel and Ontario Cardiac Rehabilitation Pilot Steering Committee. He was honored to receive the RCPs Excellence in Quality of Care Award and The Canadian Cardiovascular Society Segall Award. His multiple personal interests include Cycling, Downhill Skiing (CSIA instructor), Woodworking and Jazz Music.
